2. Code of Conduct
All members of Ely City Lions Futsal Club, including players, coaches, parents, and volunteers, are expected to adhere to the following principles:
2.1 Players
· Show respect towards coaches, teammates, opponents, and referees at all times.
· Maintain good discipline both on and off the field.
· Work hard to develop skills and always give your best effort in every session and match.
· Follow all club and league rules, including attendance and punctuality for training sessions and matches.
· Take care of the club's equipment and facilities.
2.2 Coaches and Volunteers
· Provide a positive learning environment that fosters development and enjoyment.
· Treat all players equally and provide fair opportunities for participation.
· Lead by example, demonstrating respect, honesty, and integrity.
· Ensure all activities are safe and appropriate for the age group and skill level.
· Engage with parents and players, providing feedback and clear communication about progress.
2.3 Parents/Guardians
· Support your child in their development, encouraging positive behavior and respect for coaches, referees, and other players.
· Attend matches and training sessions when possible to provide encouragement and reinforcement.
· Maintain a positive attitude and refrain from any negative behavior during matches and training sessions.
· Respect the decisions of the coach and the officials.
2.4 Respect for Officials
· Players, coaches, and parents must respect referees and officials, understanding they are performing an important role in ensuring fair play.
· Any concerns regarding officiating should be raised in a calm and respectful manner, following appropriate channels.
3. Player Development and Training
· The club will provide structured and age-appropriate training programs aimed at developing technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of futsal.
· Training sessions will be conducted by qualified coaches with experience in futsal and youth development.
· Players are expected to attend training regularly and notify their coach if they are unable to attend.
· The club will support players’ progression, offering opportunities for involvement in competitive matches, tournaments, and local futsal leagues.
4. Health and Safety
· The safety and well-being of players is the top priority. All participants must adhere to the club’s safety protocols, which include:
o Medical forms must be completed and submitted for each player, including details of any medical conditions or allergies.
o First aid kits will be available at all training sessions and matches.
o Coaches and volunteers will be trained in basic first aid and emergency procedures.
o Any injuries must be reported immediately, and injured players should not return to play until given clearance by a medical professional.
· Players are expected to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for futsal. Shin guards are mandatory during all training sessions and matches.
5. Equality and Inclusion
· Ely City Lions Futsal Club is committed to providing equal opportunities to all players, regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or disability.
· Discrimination, harassment, or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated. Any concerns regarding discrimination should be reported to the club's management immediately.
6. Disciplinary Procedures
· Any breaches of this policy may result in disciplinary action. This could include verbal warnings, written warnings, temporary suspension from training or matches, or permanent expulsion from the club.
· Disciplinary issues will be handled fairly, consistently, and confidentially, with due consideration for the individual's circumstances.

8. Club Fees and Financial Responsibility
· Membership and participation fees are required to cover the costs of training, facilities, and other club expenses.
· Fees will be communicated to parents/guardians at the start of the season, and payment plans will be made available if necessary.
· Failure to pay fees or repeated late payments may affect a player’s participation in the club.

· Ely City Lions Futsal Club is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all personal data. Personal details provided by players, parents, and staff will only be used for club-related purposes.
